Model LCY is a slide valve type of threaded pilot-operated relief valve. As a pressure limiting device,it is able to regulate the pressure smoothly in any

hydraulic system.

The valve port is closed before the pressure reaches set point, it will open the pilot which then open the main valve core, letting the fluid flow through port 1 and 2 to limit and control system pressure.
