Model LCS is a screw shuttle valve with conical sealing.

When the pressure of port A is higher than port B, the fluid of A will push the steel ball to port B, so as to stop the fluid to port B, then port A connected with port C. Contrarily, port B connected with port C, and port A will be closed. This valve aims to make port C connected with the higher pressure ones between A and B, then to close the lower pressure port.
